The 15th Hollywood Music in Media Awards recognized the best in music in film, TV, video games, commercials, and trailers of 2024. The ceremony was held on November 20, 2024, at The Avalon in Hollywood. [1] [2]

Contents

The nominations were announced on November 7, 2024. [3] Jacques Audiard's musical film Emilia Pérez led the nominations with five, followed by Blitz and A Complete Unknown , with three nominations apiece. [4] After being discontinued from 2019 to 2022 and being revived in 2023, the category for Original Song – Sci-Fi/Fantasy Film, was again not presented.

The Lion King: Original Motion Picture Soundtrack is the soundtrack album for the eponymous Disney film. It was grouped with "horror" films, until that genre was given its own category. The award was first given in 2014, during the fifth annual awards.

The Hollywood Music in Media Award for Best Original Song – TV Show/Mini Series is one of the awards given annually to people working in the television industry by the Hollywood Music in Media Awards (HMMA). It is presented to the lyricists, musicians and performers who have crafter the best "original" song, specifically for a television series or miniseries. The music for the 2024 French crime comedy film Emilia Pérez directed by Jacques Audiard featured original songs composed by Camille, who also composed the original score with Clément Ducol. The songs were performed by the ensemble cast members, Zoe Saldaña, Karla Sofía Gascón, Selena Gomez, Adriana Paz, Mark Ivanir, amongst others.
