Jeremy Kleiner (born 1976/1977) [1] is an American film producer. He and his fellow producers won two Academy Awards for Best Picture for the 2013 film 12 Years a Slave and the 2016 film Moonlight . [2] Since 2013 he has served as the Co-President of Plan B Entertainment serving with Dede Gardner. [3]
Kleiner was born to a Jewish family [1] and is a 1998 graduate of Harvard University, where he won the Detur Book Prize, the Hoopes Prize and was elected Phi Beta Kappa. [4] [5] [6] [7]
Kleiner worked as creative executive at Dick and Lauren Shuler Donner's company. In 2003, he joined Plan B Entertainment where he worked his way up from creative executive to producer and then co-president in 2013. [8]
He was a producer in all films unless otherwise noted.

The Phi Beta Kappa Society (ΦΒΚ) is the oldest academic honor society in the United States, and the most prestigious, due in part to its long history and academic selectivity. Thomas Edgar Rothman is an American businessman, film producer, film executive and current chairman and CEO of Sony Pictures Motion Picture Group. In this role, Rothman oversees all of the studio's motion picture production and distribution activities worldwide, including Columbia Pictures, TriStar Pictures, Screen Gems, Sony Pictures Imageworks, Sony Pictures Animation, Sony Pictures Classics, 3000 Pictures, Sony Pictures International Productions, Stage 6 Films, AFFIRM Films. Under Rothman's leadership, the Motion Picture Group was returned to strong profitability and experienced several of its most profitable years in history with Once Upon a Time in Hollywood and Little Women. Driven by tentpoles such as Spider-Man: Far From Home, Jumanji: The Next Level, and Bad Boys For Life, fiscal year 2020 was the film studio's best in over a decade in terms of both ultimate profitability and operating income.
Plan B Entertainment, Inc., more commonly known as Plan B, is an American production company founded in November in 2001 by Brad Pitt, Brad Grey, Kristin Hahn and Jennifer Aniston. The company first signed with Warner Bros. as a replacement for Brad Grey Pictures, a company operated by Brad Grey. In 2005, after Pitt and Aniston divorced, Grey became the CEO of Paramount Pictures and Pitt became the sole owner of the company.
