<span class="mw-page-title-main">Potosí</span> City in Bolivia

Potosí, known as Villa Imperial de Potosí in the colonial period, is the capital city and a municipality of the Department of Potosí in Bolivia. It is one of the highest cities in the world at a nominal 4,090 m (13,420 ft). For centuries, it was the location of the Spanish colonial silver mint. Tinku, a Bolivian Aymara tradition, began as a form of ritualistic combat. In the Quechua language, it means “meeting-encounter". During this ritual, men and women from different communities will meet and begin the festivities by dancing. The women will then form circles and begin chanting while the men proceed to fight each other; eventually the women will join in the fighting as well. Large tinkus are held in Potosí during the first few weeks of May.

Club Real Potosí is a Bolivian football club based in Potosí. Founded on 1 April 1988, in 2022 it will play in the Potosí Football Association Championship, after being relegated from the Bolivian Primera División in 2021, holding home games at Estadio Víctor Agustín Ugarte, with a 32,000-seat capacity.

Estadio Víctor Agustín Ugarte, also known by its old name Estadio Mario Mercado Vaca Guzmán, is a multi-purpose stadium in Potosí, Bolivia. It is currently used mostly for football matches, on club level by Real Potosí and Nacional Potosí. The stadium has a capacity of 32,000 people.

The 2011 Liga de Fútbol Profesional Boliviano season was the 35th season of LFPB. Originally comprising two tournaments, the 2011 season was the first single-stage season since 2005. This was to change the calendar to European calendar like Argentina, Venezuela and Uruguay. The 2011 fixtures were released on January 7, 2011. The season began on January 15 ended on June 22. There was no relegation. Oriente Petrolero was the defending champion.

The 2020 Bolivian Primera División season, known as the 2020 Copa Tigo season for sponsorship reasons, was the 43rd season of the División Profesional del Fútbol Boliviano, Bolivia's top-flight football league and the third season under División de Fútbol Profesional management. The season started on 21 January 2020 and ended on 31 December 2020. Jorge Wilstermann were the defending champions, having won the 2019 Clausura tournament.
