The 2007 Indiana Fever season was their 8th season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). They finished 2nd in the Eastern Conference with 21 wins and 13 losses on the season. The season marked the third consecutive season that the Fever earned a playoff berth. They eliminated the Connecticut Sun, 2–1, in the First Round of the playoffs but then in turn were eliminated in the Eastern Conference Finals, 2–1, by the Detroit Shock.

Offseason

On March 23, 2007 the Fever signed Tammy Sutton-Brown from the defunct Charlotte Sting, Sutton-Brown was one of the most sought-after free agents. [1]

Sheri Lynette Sam is an American professional women's basketball coach and player who played in the WNBA. She was born and raised in Lafayette, Louisiana as the youngest of eight siblings, and where she was a standout at Acadiana High School. She graduated from Vanderbilt University in 1996. She was an assistant coach at Eastern Illinois University.

Tully Louise Bevilaqua is an Australian retired professional women's basketball player and current assistant coach for the Phoenix Mercury. She formerly played for the San Antonio Stars in the WNBA and the Perth Lynx in Australia's WNBL. The 5'7" Bevilaqua's play style is energetic and disruptive, so much so that she is usually in the top 10 in steals. In the 2005 regular season, she had more steals per turnover than any other player.

Tamara Kim "Tammy" Sutton-Brown is a Canadian retired professional basketball player. Her primary position was center. Throughout her playing career, Sutton-Brown played for the Charlotte Sting and Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). She had also played in Asia and Europe. Sutton-Brown has won a WNBA championship (2012) and is a two-time WNBA All-Star.

The 2009 Indiana Fever season was their 10th season in the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA). The Fever attempted to advance to the WNBA Playoffs for the fifth consecutive season and were successful. The Fever reached their first WNBA Finals, but fell short in 5 games to the Phoenix Mercury.

The 2009 WNBA season is the 12th season for the Washington Mystics franchise of the Women's National Basketball Association. The Mystics reached the playoffs for the first time in three years. They lost to the Indiana Fever in the first round in a sweep.

The 2009 WNBA season was the 13th season and final season for the Sacramento Monarchs of the Women's National Basketball Association. The Monarchs failed to qualify for the WNBA Playoffs for the first time in seven years. The Monarchs would later discontinue operations just 2 months after the 2009 season ended.

The 2016 WNBA season is the 17th season for the Indiana Fever of the Women's National Basketball Association. The season tipped off on May 1. The Fever finished with a record of 17–17, third in the Eastern Conference and fifth overall. The Fever made the First Round of the 2016 WNBA Playoffs, losing to the Phoenix Mercury. It was the team's 13th appearance in the WNBA playoffs.
