Yukon won its first Canada summer games gold medal at these games courtesy of Alexendra Gabor in the 400M freestyle event in swimming [1] She also won all of Yukon's medals.

The Northern Indiana Conference (NIC) is a high school athletic conference that was founded in 1927 and spanned from as far west as Hammond and Gary to South Bend/Mishawaka and Elkhart to the east and south to Plymouth. Since its start in 1927, a total of 32 separate schools have at one time called the NIC home. From its inception until 1963, the conference had been divided into East and West divisions. The West Division left to form the Northwestern Conference in 1963. With membership dwindling to 7 members by the 1970s, the conference added former members of the Northern Indiana Valley Conference to its ranks. Currently, every former NIVC member is now a part of the NIC except for South Bend Jackson, which closed in 1973, and South Bend LaSalle, which joined the NIC in 1977, but closed in 2001.
Osaka 2008 was one of the five short-listed bids for the 2008 Games, presented by the city of Osaka, Japan. The city won its right to represent Japan over Yokohama when chosen by the Japanese Olympic Committee.

The 2017 Canada Summer Games, officially known as the XXVI Canada Games, were held in Winnipeg, Manitoba from July 28 to August 13, 2017.
The 14th National Games of China (中华人民共和国第十四届运动会), commonly known as Shaanxi 2021 (陕西2021), was a multi-sports event held throughout Shaanxi from September 15 to 27, 2021. It is projected that the Games will attract around 20,000 athletes who will compete in 409 events in 35 sports. This will be the first event in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic.
