Local election for Nikšić Municipality was held on 12 March 2017. It was boycotted by all the opposition parties after the Government announced the imprisonment of the leaders of the opposition coalition Democratic Front. [8] Only the ruling DPS and its minor partner SD ran in the election, with voter turnout at 45%, while 11% of the votes cast were spoilt.

The Socialist Party of Serbia is a political party in Serbia. Ivica Dačić has led SPS as its president since 2006.
The Party of United Pensioners, Farmers, and Proletarians of Serbia – Solidarity and Justice is a political party in Serbia that advocates for pensioners' interests.
Aleksandar Vučić – Serbia Must Not Stop, commonly shortened to just Serbia Must Not Stop, is the name of electoral lists led by the Serbian Progressive Party that contested the parliamentary, Vojvodina provincial, and local elections in December 2023.
Democratic Montenegro, also known as the Democrats, is a conservative liberal, centrist, populist and pro-European political party in Montenegro. Democrats currently has nine MPs in the Parliament of Montenegro, elected in 2020, from the big tent Peace is Our Nation (MNN) electoral list. Its founder and current leader is Aleksa Bečić, former President of the Parliament.
In Montenegro, the Opposition is all of the political parties represented in Parliament that are not a part of the Government supported by the parliamentary majority.
Aleksa Bečić is a Montenegrin politician, current Deputy Prime Minister of Montenegro since 2023, who served as the president of the Parliament from 2020 until 2022. He is the founder and current president of the centrist political party Democratic Montenegro.

Local elections in Serbia were held on 3 April 2022 in the municipalities of Aranđelovac, Bajina Bašta, Belgrade, Bor, Doljevac, Kladovo, Knjaževac, Kula, Lučani, Majdanpek, Medveđa, Sečanj, Sevojno, and Smederevska Palanka. Alongside the local elections, national-level general elections were held simultaneously on the same day.
Municipal elections were held on 3 March 2019 in Tuzi Municipality. These elections were called by President of Montenegro Milo Đukanović for 3 March 2019, after Tuzi became an independent municipality on 1 September 2018.
The Europe Now Movement, sometimes stylised with an exclamation mark, is a centrist political organization in Montenegro, founded in June 2022 by the former Ministers of Finance and the Economy, Milojko Spajić and Jakov Milatović, respectively. It describes itself as an economy-focused and anti-corruption movement, that is economically liberal.
