The 2011 World Wheelchair Curling Championship was held in Prague, Czech Republic from February 22 - March 1, 2011. Ten mixed gender teams competed for four playoff spots. In the final, Canada's Jim Armstrong defeated Scotland's Aileen Neilson in the final in 7 ends. Teams also gained qualification points from this event for the 2014 Winter Paralympic Games in Sochi.

The 2012 Boston Pizza Cup was held from February 8 to 12 at the Encana Arena in the Edgeworth Centre in Camrose, Alberta. The winning team of Kevin Koe represented Alberta at the 2012 Tim Hortons Brier in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.

The 2013 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship was held from November 15 to 24, 2012 at the Town of Mount Royal Curling Club in Mount Royal, Quebec. This edition marked the fiftieth edition of the Canadian Mixed Curling Championship and the third time that the province of Quebec has hosted the Canadian Mixed Championship. This edition also marked the first time that the qualifying round for relegated teams was implemented in the championship. In the final, Ontario, skipped by Cory Heggestad, defeated Nova Scotia, skipped by Brent MacDougall, with a score of 10–3 in eight ends. Heggestad and his team won their first Canadian Mixed title, and Ontario won its third title in the championships.

The 2013 Canadian Open of Curling was held from November 13 to 17 at Medicine Hat Arena in Medicine Hat, Alberta as part of the 2013–14 World Curling Tour. The event was the second men's Grand Slam event of the season. The event was held in a round robin format, and the purse for the event was CAD$100,000.

The 2017 Recharge With Milk Men's Tankard, better known as the Ontario Tankard was the 2017 edition of the Ontario men's provincial curling championship to determine who will represent the province of Ontario at the 2017 Tim Hortons Brier, the national curling championship of Canada. The 2018 Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the provincial women's curling championship for Southern Ontario, was held January 10 to 14 at the Whitby Curling Club in Whitby, Ontario. The winning team represented Ontario at the 2018 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Penticton, British Columbia.

The 2018 United States Men's Curling Championship was held from March 3 to 10 at the Scheels Arena in Fargo, North Dakota. It was held in conjunction with the 2018 United States Women's Curling Championship.

The 2019 Canadian Mixed Curling Championship was held from November 4 to 10, 2018 at the Fort Rouge Curling Club in Winnipeg, Manitoba. Team Manitoba, as champions, represented Canada at the 2019 World Mixed Curling Championship where they won the gold medal.

The 2018 Travelers Curling Club Championship was held from November 19 to 24 at the Miramichi Curling Club in Miramichi, New Brunswick.

The 2019 Scotties BC Women's Curling Championship presented by Best Western and Nufloors, the provincial women's curling championship for British Columbia, was held January 29 to February 3 at the West Fraser Centre in Quesnel. The winning Sarah Wark team represented British Columbia at the 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Sydney, Nova Scotia.

The 2019 Northern Ontario Scotties Tournament of Hearts, the Northern Ontario women's curling championship, was held January 30 to February 3 at the Nipigon Curling Club in Nipigon. The winning Krista McCarville team represented Northern Ontario at the 2019 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Sydney, Nova Scotia.
