The 2018 NASCAR K&N Pro Series West was the sixty-fifth season of the K&N Pro Series West, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR. It began with the Bakersfield 175 presented by NAPA Auto Parts at Kern County Raceway Park on March 15 and concluded with the NAPA Auto Parts 175 presented by West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame at Kern County Raceway Park on October 27. Todd Gilliland entered the season as the defending Drivers' champion; however, he did not go for three in a row, because he moved up to the Truck Series in 2018. Derek Thorn, the 2013 West Series champion, won his second championship in his first full season since his first title, 27 points in front of his Sunrise Ford Racing teammate Ryan Partridge, who also returned to the series in 2018 after a year off in 2017.

On December 11, 2017, NASCAR announced the 2018 schedule. The two races at Irwindale were dropped from the schedule in favor of a second race at Tucson and a race at Gateway. The Las Vegas Motor Speedway dirt track was added to the schedule, marking the series' first race on dirt since 1979 at Ascot Park. Patrick Carpentier is a retired Canadian professional auto racing driver. In the Champ Car World Series and the IndyCar Series, he achieved five wins and 24 podiums, as well as two third place championship finishes in 2002 and 2004. The long-time Champ Car driver switched to the IndyCar Series in 2005, and moved on to Grand Am Road Racing in 2007. After a few NASCAR races in 2007, he moved full-time into the series in 2008. Since 2009, he has only had part-time drives, so became a contractor and renovator in Montreal, trading in real estate in Las Vegas, as well as being a color commentator for television coverage of various racing series. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, driving the No. 32 Ford Fusion for Go FAS Racing. Carpentier is now the president of a home construction firm in Quebec.
Peyton Sellers is an American professional stock car racing driver. He won the 2005 and 2021 national championship of NASCAR's Weekly Racing Series. He competed for several seasons in both the NASCAR Xfinity Series and Camping World Truck Series.
Tomy Drissi is an American professional stock and sports car racing driver, and an advertising executive in the movie industry. A long-time competitor in the Sports Car Club of America's Trans-Am Series, he was the series' 2009 Champion.
Noah Quinn Gragson is an American professional stock car racing driver. He competes full-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving a Ford Mustang Dark Horse for Front Row Motorsports, and part-time in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series West driving the No. 30 Ford for Rette Jones Racing. He previously drove full-time in the NASCAR Truck Series for Kyle Busch Motorsports from 2017 to 2018 driving the No. 18 Toyota Tundra.
Joshua Robert Reaume is an American professional stock car racing driver, engineer, and team owner. He competes part-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, driving the No. 22 Ford F-150 for Reaume Brothers Racing.
Enrique Contreras III is a Mexican professional stock car racing driver. He has competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Camping World Truck Series, and most notably, NASCAR Mexico Series. He is the son of former Indy Lights racer Enrique Contreras II and nephew of NASCAR driver Carlos Contreras.

It began with the NAPA Auto Parts Tucson 150 at Tucson Speedway on March 18 and concluded with the West Coast Stock Car Hall of Fame Championship 150 presented by NAPA Auto Parts at Kern County Raceway Park on November 4. Todd Gilliland was the defending drivers' champion and he won the championship again in 2017, becoming the first back-to-back champion in the West Series since Mike Duncan in 2004 and 2005.
MDM Motorsports was an American professional stock car racing team that most recently competed in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East, the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West, and the ARCA Racing Series. The team also competed in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series from 2017 to 2018. The team shut its doors after the 2018 season, despite winning the ARCA Menards Series championship that year.

It began with the Performance Plus 150 presented by Safety-Kleen at Myrtle Beach Speedway on 17 March and concluded with the Sunoco World Series 150 at Thompson Speedway Motorsports Park on 14 October. Doug Coby entered the season as the defending Drivers' champion. 2018 marked the second season of the unification of the Whelen (Northern) Modified Tour and the Whelen Southern Modified Tour. Justin Bonsignore won the championship, 97 points ahead of Chase Dowling.

Harrison Burton entered the season as the defending Drivers' champion. Tyler Ankrum won the championship, 84 points in front of Tyler Dippel.
Tricon Garage, formerly known as David Gilliland Racing, DGR-Crosley, and Team DGR, is an American professional stock car racing team that competes in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The team was founded in early 2017 when racing team owners David Gilliland and Bo LeMastus came together to form a collaborative effort from their respective teams, David Gilliland Racing and Crosley Sports Group, known as DGR-Crosley. DGR-Crosley fielded Toyotas in 2018 and 2019 before announcing its switch to Ford starting in 2020. The team reverted to the David Gilliland Racing name in 2021 as Johnny Gray became a co-owner. Former co-owner and driver Bo LeMastus remained with the team in a marketing and sponsorship capacity.
Derek Kenneth Kraus is an American professional stock car racing driver. He last competed part-time in the NASCAR Cup Series, driving the No. 16 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 for Kaulig Racing. He has also previously competed in the NASCAR Xfinity Series, NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series, ARCA Menards Series and ARCA Menards Series East and West. He won the 2019 West Series championship and is also a former NASCAR Next member. He is also Kaulig's simulator driver.
McAnally–Hilgemann Racing (MHR) is an American professional stock car racing team that competes full-time in the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. The team is based in Roseville, California, and is owned by Bill McAnally. In the NASCAR Truck Series, the team fields two trucks full-time: No. 18 Chevrolet Silverado for Tyler Ankrum and No. 19 Chevrolet Silverado for Daniel Hemric.
The 2019 NASCAR K&N Pro Series East was the 33rd season of the K&N Pro Series East, a regional stock car racing series sanctioned by NASCAR. It began with the New Smyrna 175 at New Smyrna Speedway on February 11 and concluded with the General Tire 125 at Dover International Speedway on October 4. General Tire took over the position as the official tire supplier of the series from Goodyear. Sam Mayer was crowned the series champion, becoming the youngest champion in series history, at 16 years, 3 months, 8 days, topping the previous record set by Todd Gilliland after he won the 2016 title. Tyler Ankrum entered the season as the defending drivers' champion, but he did not defend his championship because he moved up to the Truck Series full time in 2019.

It began with the Star Nursery 100 at the Las Vegas Motor Speedway dirt track on February 28, 2019, and concluded with the Arizona Lottery 100 at ISM Raceway on November 9, 2019. Derek Kraus was crowned the champion, ahead of Jagger Jones, Hailie Deegan, and Trevor Huddleston. Derek Thorn entered the season as the defending drivers' champion, but did not defend his championship, deciding instead to focus on super late model racing.

The track currently has two races for the series which are both in July: the NAPA Auto Parts 150 on July 4 and the West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame 150 on July 6. Races at the track have varied from 50 miles to 150 miles in length.
The ARCA Menards Series West has held several races at Kevin Harvick's Kern Raceway in Bakersfield, California over the years. The track currently has two races for the series, the MMI Oil Workers 150 in April and the NAPA Auto Parts 150 in October. The West Coast Stock Car Motorsports Hall of Fame serves as a presenting sponsor of both races.
Kole Raz is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 5 Toyota for Jerry Pitts Racing & No. 76 Ford for AM Racing.
Jaron Giannini is an American professional stock car racing driver who competes part-time in the ARCA Menards Series West, driving the No. 23 Chevrolet/Toyota for Sigma Performance Services.
