2018 Hokkaido Consadole Sapporo season.

The 2018 season was Kashima Antlers's 26th consecutive season in the J1 League since professional football was established in Japan in 1993. In addition to the domestic league, the club also competed in the Emperor's Cup, J.League Cup, and AFC Champions League. They won the latter trophy securing their first ever Champions League trophy in their first appearance in the final.

The 2018 Kawasaki Frontale season is their 14th consecutive season in J1 League, they are defending champions after finishing top of the 2017 J1 League. They will also compete in the J.League Cup, Emperor's Cup, and AFC Champions League.

The 2020 season is Cerezo Osaka's fourth consecutive season in the top-division of Japanese football following promotion in 2016. In addition to the J1 League, the club also competes in the 2020 Emperor's Cup and the 2020 J.League Cup.

The 2023 Urawa Red Diamonds season will be their 73rd season in existence and the 23rd consecutive season in the J1 League. In addition to the league, the club will compete in the Emperor's Cup and the J. League Cup. The club can still qualify to the 2023–24 AFC Champions League if they win their 2022 AFC Champions League Final, to be played on July 2023.
