Ogun East

A total of 22 candidates registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission to contest in the election. APC candidate Ramoni Olalekan Mustapha won the election, defeating PDP candidate Sosanwo Adeola Ayoola and 20 other party candidates. Ramoni of APC received 44.21% of the votes, while Sosanwa received 43.07% [7] [8] [9] [10]

A total of 19 candidates registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission to contest in the election. APC candidate Ibikunle Amosun Oyelaja won the election, defeating PDP candidate Solomon Abiodun Sanyaolu, ADC candidate Titilayo Oseni-Gomez and 16 other party candidates. A total of 20 candidates registered with the Independent National Electoral Commission to contest in the election. APC candidate Tolu Odebiyi won the election, defeating PDP candidate Abiodun Odunleye Odunjo, APM candidate Bolanle Olusegun Gbeleyi and 17 other party candidates. Ibikunle Amosun is a Nigerian politician, former governor of Ogun State and two-term senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. He first served as an elected senator for Ogun Central district of Ogun State, Nigeria from June 2003 to June 2007, and reelected in 2019. After an unsuccessful bid for governor of Ogun State in April 2007, he was elected governor of the state on the Action Congress of Nigeria (ACN) platform in 2011. He contested again for a second term as governor under the All Progressives Congress and after winning the election, was sworn into office on 29 May 2015.

Tolulope Odebiyi is a Nigerian politician from Ogun state, who was elected to the Ogun West senatorial seat in 2019. He previously served as the Chief of staff to Governor Ibikunle Amosun of Ogun state.

The 2015 Ogun State gubernatorial election occurred on 11 April 2015. Incumbent Governor APC's Ibikunle Amosun won election for a second term, defeating PDP's Adegboyega Isiaka and several minor party candidates. Amosun received 60.38% of the vote.
