The 2019 Ogun State House of Assembly election was held on March 9, 2019, to elect members of the Ogun State House of Assembly in Nigeria. All the 26 seats were up for election in the Ogun State House of Assembly. APC won 15 seats, APM won 7 seats, ADC won 3 seats, while PDP won 1 seat. [1] [2] [3] [4] [5]
Upon the opening of the 9th State House of Assembly, Olakunle Oluomo (APC-Ifo I) was elected as Speaker of the House while Oludare Kadiri (APC-Ijebu North I) and Yusuf Sherif Abiodun (APC-Ado Odo Ota I) became Deputy Speaker and House Leader, respectively. [6] [7]

The Ogun State House of Assembly is the legislative branch of the Ogun State Government, Nigeria, inaugurated on February 3, 1979. The assembly is unicameral with 26 representatives elected from each constituencies of the 20 local government area of the state.
An election for the National Assembly was held in Ogun State, Nigeria on Saturday, 22 February 2019.
The 2015 Ogun State gubernatorial election occurred on 11 April 2015. Incumbent Governor APC's Ibikunle Amosun won election for a second term, defeating PDP's Adegboyega Isiaka and several minor party candidates. Amosun received 60.38% of the vote.
The 2023 Nigerian gubernatorial elections were held for state governors in 31 out of 36 Nigerian states. All but three elections were held on 18 March—concurrent with elections to every state house of assembly, three weeks after the presidential election and National Assembly elections—while the Imo State, Kogi State, and Bayelsa State elections will be held on 11 November.
