The 2019 Premier League Asia Trophy was the ninth edition of the Premier League Asia Trophy. [1] Manchester City, Newcastle United, West Ham United and Wolverhampton Wanderers competed for the Premier League Asia Trophy. It was held in two cities for the first time, Nanjing and Shanghai, from 17 July to 20 July 2019.
Wolverhampton Wanderers won their first title following their 3–2 victory on penalties over Manchester City. [2]

Wolverhampton Wanderers Football Club, commonly known as Wolves, is a professional association football club based in the city of Wolverhampton in the West Midlands, England. Formed as St. Luke's F.C. in 1877, the club has played at Molineux Stadium since 1889 and has been competing in the Premier League, the top division of English football, since winning promotion in 2018.
