The 2021 Italian Athletics Championships was the 111st edition of the Italian Athletics Championships which took place in Rovereto from 25 to 27 June. [2] It is the second edition held in this town, after 2014 edition.
10 km Racewalking will be held in Corso Bettini with arrival outside the Museum of Modern and Contemporary Art of Trento and Rovereto. However national racewalking titles were also awarded earlier. [3] [4] 10,000 m championships were held in Molfetta on 2 May. [5]

Giovanni De Benedictis is a retired Italian race walker, that won 9 medals at individual level, 7 of these at senior level, at the International athletics competitions. He participated at five editions of the Summer Olympics, this like only two others Italian athletes in track and field: the other racewalker champion Abdon Pamich and the sprinter Pietro Mennea. He also won four medals at the IAAF World Race Walking Cup team events.
Raffaello Ducceschi is an Italian former race walker who took fifth and eighth place in two Olympic Games.
Vittorio Visini is a retired Italian race walker. He competed in the 20 km and 50 km events at the 1968, 1972 and 1976 Olympics and finished in 6–8th place.
