The 2021 NCAA Division I Tennis Championships was the men's and women's tennis tournaments played concurrently from May 7 to May 28, 2021 at campus sites and Orlando, Florida at the USTA National Campus. [1] It was the 75th edition of the NCAA Division I Men's Tennis Championship [2] and the 39th edition of the NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship. [3]

The Women's National Invitation Tournament (WNIT) is a women's national college basketball tournament with a preseason and postseason version played every year. It is operated in a similar fashion to the men's college National Invitation Tournament (NIT) and NIT Season Tip-Off. Unlike the NIT, the women's tournament is not run by the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA), but is an independent tournament. Triple Crown Sports, a company based in Fort Collins, Colorado that specializes in the promotion of amateur sporting events, created the WNIT in 1994 as a preseason counterpart to the then-current National Women's Invitational Tournament (NWIT). After the NWIT folded in 1996, Triple Crown Sports resurrected the postseason version in 1998 under the NWIT name, but changed the following season to the current name.

The NCAA Division I Women's Tennis Championship is the National Collegiate Athletic Association's tennis tournament to determine the Team Championships, Singles Championships, and Doubles Championships for women's tennis athletes from Division I institutions. Tennis was one of twelve women's sports added to the NCAA championship program for the 1981–82 school year, as the NCAA engaged in battle with the Association for Intercollegiate Athletics for Women for sole governance of women's collegiate sports. The AIAW continued to conduct its established championship program in the same twelve sports; however, after a year of dual women's championships, the NCAA outlasted the AIAW to gain sole authority over women's sports.

The 2021 NCAA Division I men's basketball tournament was a single-elimination tournament of 68 teams to determine the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) Division I men's college basketball national champion for the 2020–21 season. The 82nd edition of the tournament began play on March 18, 2021 in sites around the state of Indiana, and concluded with the championship game at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis on April 5, with the Baylor Bears defeating the previously undefeated Gonzaga Bulldogs 86–70 to earn the team's first ever title.

The 2021 NCAA Division I Women's Lacrosse Championship was the 39th annual single-elimination tournament to determine the national champion of Division I NCAA women's college lacrosse. The semifinal and championship rounds were played at Johnny Unitas Stadium in Towson, MD from May 28–30, 2021. All other rounds were played at campus sites, usually at the home field of the higher-seeded team, from May 14–22. This marked the return of the tournament after 2020 was cancelled due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

The 2021 Spring ASUN men's soccer tournament was the 42nd edition of the ASUN Men's Soccer Tournament. It determined the ASUN Conference's automatic berth for the 2020 NCAA Division I men's soccer tournament. The tournament began on April 10, 2021, and concluded on April 18. The final had originally been scheduled for April 17, but the intended final site of Southern Oak Stadium on the Jacksonville University campus in Jacksonville, Florida was rendered unplayable due to severe weather. The match was delayed by a day and moved to the Stetson University campus in DeLand, Florida.
