The 2022 Women's Beach Handball World Championships was the ninth edition of the championship, held from 21 to 26 June 2022 at Heraklion, Crete. Greece under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF). [1] It was the first time in history that the championship will be organised by Hellenic Handball Federation. [2]

The 2007 World Women's Handball Championship was the 18th edition of the international championship tournament in women's team sport handball that is governed by the International Handball Federation (IHF). France hosted the event from 2–16 December 2007. A total of 24 teams participated in the tournament. The 2022 Men's Beach Handball World Championships was the ninth edition of the championship, held from 21 to 26 June 2022 at Crete, Greece under the aegis of International Handball Federation (IHF). It was the first time in history that the championship is organised by Hellenic Handball Federation.
