The 2024-25 Lexington SC season is the inaugural USL Super League season, in which Lexington is a founding club. The league is a D1 women's professional soccer league that competes during the "European Calendar" from August until June, with taking a break in the winter similar to Germany.

    The USL Super League (USLS) is a professional women's soccer league in the highest level of the United States league system, alongside the National Women's Soccer League. Organized by the United Soccer League (USL), it operates as its premier league for women above the pre-professional USL W League. The league consists of eight clubs who annually play four round-robins – two in the fall and two in the spring – to earn four places in a playoff tournament that determines the league's champion. Additional clubs are expected to join the league in the future. Clubs in the league have no cap on salaries or squad sizes, while minimum salaries are around US$35,000 to 37,000. There is no draft system, and squads are primarily built with free agents. The league's matches are streamed nationally on Peacock.

The 2 professional teams play at Lexington SC Stadium, a brand-new 7,500 Soccer-specific stadium that open in September 2024 for the USL Super League squad's inaugural home match.     The 2023 Lexington SC season was the club's first season since their establishment on October 5, 2021. The club made its league debut in the USL League One as well as its domestic cup debut in the U.S. Open Cup.

    The 2024 Lexington SC season is the club's second season since their establishment on October 5, 2021. The club will be competing in their second season in USL League One and will be part of the inaugural USL1 in-season tournament. They made their 2nd ever appearance in the U.S. Open Cup on March 19, falling 3–4 to amateur USL League Two side Vermont Green FC in what was the first-ever cup match played in the state, and LSC became the first professional club to play a competitive match in Vermont.

    The 2024–25 USL Super League is the first season of the USL Super League, a top division of women's soccer in the United States. Eight teams are competing in the inaugural season which began on August 17, 2024. The league will pause between mid-December and mid-February for a winter break.

    The 2024–25 season of Dallas Trinity FC is the team's inaugural season as a professional women's soccer team and as well as the first for the USL Super League (USLS), one of two leagues to be in the top tier of women's soccer in the United States. In November 2024, Copa Tejas announced that as a Division I team Dallas Trinity FC would be included in the Copa Tejas Shield beginning in 2025. Because of the USL Super League fall to spring schedule the entire 2024-25 season standings will be used for the 2025 Shield.
