The 2024 Racing Louisville FC season is the team's fourth as a top-tier professional women's soccer team in the National Women's Soccer League.
After Racing Louisville announced head coach Kim Björkegren would not return for the 2024 season, [1] the club hired former NWSL standout player Bev Yanez as its new coach. [2] The 35-year-old spent the 2023 season as Racing's assistant coach after two years in the same role at NJ/NY Gotham FC.
Yanez added former UANL Tigres coach and Canada Women's National Football Team star Carmelina Moscato to her staff as assistant coach. [3] Former men's collegiate coach Mitch Sowerby was also hired as an assistant coach. [4]

As part of the NWSL's new collaboration with Nike, Racing Louisville announced two new kits for the 2024 season and beyond. [5] The primary kit has an argyle pattern "inspired by traditional jockey silks." The secondary kit is a midnight violet gradient.
Racing Louisville plays its home games at Lynn Family Stadium, a soccer-specific stadium it shares with brother club Louisville City FC. [6] The team trains at the Lynn Family Sports Vision & Training Center about two miles away from the stadium. [7]
In November 2023, the NWSL announced its largest media rights deal in league history, worth a reported $240 million. [8] The new broadcast agreement includes ABC, CBS, CBS Sports Network, ESPN, Prime Video and Scripps Sports. The NWSL also announced its new in-house streaming service, NWSL+. [9]
For its local broadcast rights, Racing renewed its deal with WAVE, the NBC affiliate in Louisville. [10] The club also started a new radio broadcast deal with iHeartMedia in Louisville, with games primarily carried by Sports Talk 790AM and News Talk 1080 AM. [11]

Carmelina Moscato is a Canadian soccer coach and former professional player. She is currently an assistant coach for Racing Louisville FC of the National Women's Soccer League. She played as a centreback for UPC Tavagnacco in the Serie A, for Piteå IF and Dalsjöfors GoIF in the Damallsvenskan, for Chicago Red Stars, Boston Breakers and Seattle Reign FC in the NWSL, and for Western Sydney Wanderers in the Australian W-League. She also represented the Canadian women's national team. She served as the Commissioner of League1 Ontario Women's Division from September 2019 until December 2020. She also served as the Director of Women's Football for the Bahamas Football Association.
Beverly Goebel Yanez is an American soccer coach and former professional player. She is the head coach of Racing Louisville FC in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL). Yanez played as a forward for Reign FC in the NWSL, Melbourne City in the Australian W-League, INAC Kobe Leonessa in the Japanese Nadeshiko.League, PK-35 in Finland's Naisten Liiga, as well as the Western New York Flash and the Washington Freedom in the WPS.

He was hired from Cyprus champions Apollon Ladies FC after the 2020–21 European season. Björkegren had previously won the Damallsvenskan with Linköpings FC and managed Beijing BG Phoenix F.C. in the Chinese Women's Super League (CWSL). Björkegren is the second Swedish manager after Sven-Göran Eriksson to win two domestic titles in two different countries.
