The 2025 Racing Louisville FC season is the team's fifth season as a professional women's soccer team. Racing Louisville FC plays in the National Women's Soccer League (NWSL), the top tier of women's soccer in the United States.
In 2024, Racing Louisville finished in ninth place for the fourth year in a row, falling just outside of a playoff berth. [1] However, under new head coach Bev Yanez, the Racing managed to set new single-season club records in total points, goals scored, and total home attendance. [2]
As part of a league-wide refresh, [3] Racing Louisville announced its new secondary kit, called 'Roots', in February 2025. [4] The new jerseys are colored a solid dark green, celebrating the "common ground connection between Racing and the Louisville community." [5]
