Jack David Laugher is a British diver competing for Great Britain and England. A specialist on springboard, he competes in individual springboard events, and in synchronised events with Chris Mears, Daniel Goodfellow and Anthony Harding. Laugher and Mears became Britain's first diving Olympic champions by winning a gold medal in the men's synchronised 3m springboard event at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio, an achievement many had expected double world 10m champion Tom Daley would achieve first. A week later, Laugher won a silver in the men's individual 3m springboard at the same Games, becoming the first British diver to win multiple Olympic diving medals at the same Games.

Bryan Nickson Lomas is a former Malaysian diver. Lomas was the youngest Malaysian athlete to qualify for 2004 Summer Olympics when he was 14. He became the country's first world junior diving champion after winning gold at the 3 m springboard event in the World Junior Championships held at Belém, Brazil in 2004. He trained under the coaching of Yang Zhuliang. Lomas is named after the footballer Bryan Robson by his father.

Matthew Lee is a British diver and Olympic gold medallist. Adept in both individual and synchronised diving, and across both 3-metre springboard and platform, Lee won the gold medal in 10-metre platform at the 2015 European Games, the mixed 10-metre synchronised platform at the 2017 European Diving Championships and has twice been European junior champion on the 3-metre springboard. At world level, Lee won the silver medal in the mixed 10-metre synchronised platform event at the 2017 World Championships, and at the 2019 World Championships, Lee and Tom Daley won bronze in the 10 m synchro event, as well as gold in July 2021 at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

Ingrid de Oliveira is a Brazilian competitive diver. One of the best divers in Brazilian history, she finished 4th in the 2022 World Aquatics Championships, in addition to having two medals in the Pan American Games and two in the South American Games. She participated in two Olympic Games, in 2016 and 2020, in addition to having qualified for the Paris 2024 Games.

Hugo González de Oliveira is a Spanish swimmer. He is the son of a Spanish father and a Brazilian mother. He competed in the men's 100 metre backstroke and the men's 200 backstroke events at the 2016 Olympics, and in the men's 100 metre backstroke event at the 2020 Summer Olympics.

Noah Oliver Williams is an English elite competitive diver who represents Great Britain and England and specialises in the 10 metre platform and synchro platform events. Williams took the bronze medal in the 10 metre platform at the 2024 Summer Olympics, the third British diver to do so in that event. In the 10 metre synchronised event at the same Games, Williams won silver with partner Tom Daley.

The World Diving Championships are a biennial international sports competition organized by FINA since 1973 as part of the FINA World Aquatics Championships.

The diving competitions at the 2024 Summer Olympics in Paris were held from 27 July to 10 August 2024 at the Paris Aquatics Centre. A total of 136 divers, with an equal distribution between men and women, competed across eight medal events at these Games, the same amount as Tokyo 2020.

Kaylea Arnett is an American Chickasaw diver. She has competed in synchronized diving, individual platform and springboard diving, and high diving. Arnett has also performed with Cirque du Soleil.
