The 2025 Greater Lincolnshire mayoral election will be held on 1 May 2025 to elect the inaugural mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, on the same day as other local elections across the country.

The 2025 Greater Lincolnshire mayoral election will be held on 1 May 2025 to elect the inaugural mayor of Greater Lincolnshire, on the same day as other local elections across the country.
The election covers the entire historic and ceremonial county of Lincolnshire, which is governed by three councils: Lincolnshire County Council, North Lincolnshire Council, and North East Lincolnshire Council. Those councils will remain in place, with some powers being transferred to the new mayor. [3]
The election will use the voting system of first past the post to elect the mayor, in this system the candidate with the most votes wins. The Electoral Reform Society described the move towards first past the post as one lowering the bar for politicians and thus damaging British democracy. [4]

Boston and Skegness is a constituency in Lincolnshire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament by Richard Tice of Reform UK since the 2024 general election. Like all British constituencies, it elects one Member of Parliament (MP) by the first-past-the-post system of election. Prior to Tice's election, it was considered a safe seat for the Conservatives.
Cleethorpes was a constituency created in 1997, represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2010 by Martin Vickers of the Conservative Party.
Epping Forest is a constituency in Essex, created for the February 1974 general election from parts of the abolished Epping and Chigwell constituencies. It has been represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament since 2024 by Neil Hudson of the Conservative Party.
Morley and Outwood was a constituency in West Yorkshire represented in the House of Commons of the UK Parliament.
Hertfordshire County Council in England is elected every four years. Since the last boundary changes took effect in 2017 there have been 78 electoral divisions electing one councillor each.

He served as Financial Secretary to the Treasury from November 2023 to July 2024. He previously served as Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State at the Department for Digital, Culture, Media and Sport from 2020 to 2022 and as Minister of State for International Trade from February to November 2023.
Dame Andrea Marie Jenkyns is a British politician who served as the Conservative Member of Parliament for Morley and Outwood in West Yorkshire, England from 2015 to 2024.

Reform UK, colloquially known as Reform, is a right-wing populist political party in the United Kingdom. Nigel Farage has served as the party's leader since June 2024 and Richard Tice has served as the party's deputy leader since July 2024. The party also holds representation at the local government level, with most of its local councillors having defected from the Conservative Party to Reform UK. Following Farage's resumption of the leadership during the 2024 general election, there was a sharp increase in support for the party. In the election it was the third largest party by popular vote, with 14.3 per cent of the vote.

The 2024 Greater Manchester mayoral election was held on 2 May 2024 to elect the mayor of Greater Manchester. The election took place on the same day as council elections within the city region, including the election for the mayor of Salford, as well as local elections across England and Wales.

It took place simultaneously with elections to the London Assembly, some local council by-elections in London and regular local elections elsewhere in England and Wales. Following the Elections Act 2022, voting in this election took place under the first-past-the-post system for the first time, replacing the supplementary vote system. The result of the election was announced on 4 May 2024.
The 2025 West of England mayoral election will be held on the 1 May 2025 to elect the mayor of the West of England, on the same day as other local elections across the country. It will be the third election for the role. For the first time the mayor will be elected using the first-past-the-post voting system.
