The 94th Aero Squadron was a historic restaurant in Van Nuys, California. It opened in 1973. [1]
David Tallichet, a World War II pilot who flew 20 combat missions in a B-17 bomber, founded the 94th Aero Squadron in November 1973. [1] [2] It was built adjacent to Van Nuys Airport's runway in a “bombed-out” French farmhouse style. [2] Tallichet filled the restaurant with aviation relics, from posters and airplane propellers to model planes and WWI-era gas masks and helmets.
