Anisopogon is a genus of Australian plants in the grass family. [2] [3] [4] The only known species is Anisopogon avenaceus, native to Victoria and New South Wales. [1] It is known commonly as oat speargrass. [5] [6] [7] It is a perennial grass growing up to 1.5 metres tall, [7] bearing spikelets up to 6 centimetres long. [6]
