Ayats is the trading name of Carrocerías Ayats SA, a Spain-based coachbuilder. [1] The company constructs a range of coach bodies on a variety of chassis, and also manufacture their own integral products. Their products are used throughout Europe. The company was established in 1905 by Mr. Juan Ayats in Arbúcies, a village in the Selva county of the province of Girona, Catalonia, Spain. This small town offered the advantage of being in the midst of a densely forested area ("Selva" means "forest" or "jungle" in Catalan), useful since the bodyworks were made of wood at the time. Ayats is one of several coachbuilders based in Arbúcies; others include Indcar (the oldest of them), Beulas, Noge and Boari.
Ayats Bravos have been used for a number of years as the platform for specialist double deck coaches including open top buses and sleeper buses. The Ayats Bravo City was the first purpose-built open top low-floor tour bus, introduced by the worldwide sightseeing operator City Sightseeing.
The Volvo B7L is a fully low floor single-decker bus, double-decker bus and articulated bus chassis with a rear engine mounted vertically on the left of the rear overhang. It was built as a replacement for the Volvo B10L, and the Volvo Olympian, used as both a single-decker bus and a double-decker bus chassis largely in Continental Europe. The Volvo B7L was superseded by the Volvo B9L in 2006.

The East Lancs Lolyne is a type of low-floor double-decker bus body built by East Lancs. Launched in 1999, the Lolyne was the double-decker version of the Spryte, built on the Dennis Trident 2 twin-axle low-floor chassis. The body could be built as either a closed top bus or an open-top bus, and the Lolyne name continued the long line of 'misspelt' names which continued until the Scania OmniDekka.
The East Lancs Nordic is a type of low-floor double-decker bus body built by East Lancashire Coachbuilders. It was built on tri-axle double-decker Volvo B7L chassis, with a length of 12 metres and a seating capacity of up to 95 passengers. The Nordic body design is based on an elongated version of the East Lancs Vyking body, with the name "Nordic" being derived from the chassis being built by a company from Sweden. The bus was later superseded by its Myllennium counterpart in 2005.

Arbúcies is a village in the province of Girona, in the autonomous community of Catalonia, Spain. The municipality covers an area of 86.24 square kilometres (33.30 sq mi) with a population of 6481 in 2014.
The Hotel Casino de la Selva was a hotel and casino located in the city of Cuernavaca, Mexico. The main building was opened in 1931 as a hotel and casino, but from 1934 it was used only as a hotel. Additions in the late 1950s included buildings designed by the architect Félix Candela that were roofed by reinforced concrete paraboloid shells. The interior was decorated with murals by well-known Mexican and Spanish artists. After the 1970s the hotel went into decline, and in 1994 was sold to a hotel chain that failed to pay taxes on the property. It was seized by the Mexican government and was auctioned off in 2001 as a site for construction of a discount store and a hypermarket. After demolition had begun there was a public outcry, and eventually some parts of the murals were preserved.
