In 2015, "Be Alone No More" was covered by British producers Philip George and Anton Powers, retitled "Alone No More". [20] It debuted at number 4 on the UK Singles Chart, number 1 on the UK Dance Singles Chart and number 1 on the Scottish Singles Chart. It was released on 2 October 2015 as a digital download in the UK through 3 Beat Records.

Background

Powers had been toying with the idea of remixing 'Be Alone No More' for several years and initially started the project with fellow Liverpool producers Midnight City before taking it to 3 Beat label-mate George. [21]

Music video

A music video to accompany the release of "Alone No More" was first released onto YouTube on 10 September 2015 at a total length of three minutes and three seconds.

The song was written and produced by Carey and Trackmasters, and is built around a sample from "Shook Ones (Part II)" (1995) by American hip hop duo Mobb Deep. The song's lyrics recount an intimate roof-top encounter between lovers, and how the memory affects the protagonist. "This Groove" is a song by British singer Victoria Beckham, recorded for her unreleased second studio album. It was written by Alisha Brooks, David Conley, David Frank, Everett "Jam" Benton and Mic Murphy, with Damon Dash, Conley and Frank serving as producers. Telstar Records released the song on 29 December 2003 in the United Kingdom as a double A-side with "Let Your Head Go". "Let's Groove" is a song by American band Earth, Wind & Fire, released as the first single from their eleventh studio album, Raise! (1981). It is written by Maurice White and Wayne Vaughn, and produced by White. The song was a commercial success, and was the band's highest-charting single in various territories. It peaked inside the top 20 in countries including the United States, New Zealand, United Kingdom, Canada and other component charts in America. "Trippin'" is a song by UK garage DJ/producer Oris Jay featuring Delsena Ramsey on vocals. Anton Powers is an English DJ, music industry executive, record producer, and radio presenter. His work includes songs "Alone No More" and "Baby". Powers also played a role in founding the remix group Cahill.

"You Are the Universe" is a song by British acid jazz and funk group the Brand New Heavies, released in June 1997. The composition was issued as the third single taken from their fourth album, Shelter (1997), which remains the only Brand New Heavies album recorded with American singer Siedah Garrett, who afterwards left the group to concentrate on her own songwriting. Philip George is an English DJ and record producer from Nottingham. Philip George attended a secondary school in Chilwell, Nottingham. He is best known for his 2014 single "Wish You Were Mine", which peaked at number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. A second single featuring Anton Powers entitled "Alone No More" was released on 2 October 2015. The song entered the charts at number 4, becoming George's second top 10 single in the UK.

"RipGroove" is the debut single by English speed garage duo Double 99. A huge underground UK club hit in 1997 when first released on an EP under their alias R.I.P. Productions, the song was officially released as a single twice, first in May 1997 where it reached No. 31 on the UK Singles Chart, then again in October in a new mix featuring vocals by MC Top Cat, peaking seventeen places higher at No. 14. The song appeared on their sole album, 7th High, released in 2001.
