Clonostachys rosea f. rosea, also known as Gliocladium roseum, is a species of fungus in the family Bionectriaceae. It colonizes living plants as an endophyte, digests material in soil as a saprophyte and is also known as a parasite of other fungi and of nematodes. It produces a wide range of volatile organic compounds which are toxic to organisms including other fungi, bacteria, and insects, and is of interest as a biological pest control agent.

Cucujomyces is a genus of fungi in the family Laboulbeniaceae. The genus contain 14 species.

Ophiosphaerella is a genus of fungi in the family Phaeosphaeriaceae. The genus was described by Italian-Argentinian botanist and mycologist Carlos Luigi Spegazzini in 1909. Several species are pathogens of turfgrass, causing darkly pigmented hyphae on roots known as "dead spot". Ophiosphaerella korrae, O. narmari, and O. herpotricha affect bermudagrass, while the latter fungus also causes dead spot in buffalo grass. Ophiosphaerella korrae is a cause of necrotic ring spot in creeping red fescue.

Lindquistomyces is a fungal genus in the family Amphisphaeriaceae. This is a monotypic genus, containing the single species Lindquistomyces antarcticus. This species was originally described as Ophiobolus antarcticus by Carlos Luigi Spegazzini in 1887.

Camillea Genus of fungi

Camillea is a genus of fungi in the family Xylariaceae. Collectively, the 41 species in the genus have a widespread distribution, but are especially prevalent in tropical areas. Fruit bodies of Camillea species tend to be cylindrical in shape. The genus was originally circumscribed by Swedish mycologist Elias Fries in his 1849 work Summa vegetabilium Scandinaviae.

Bionectriaceae Family of fungi

The Bionectriaceae are a family of fungi in the order Hypocreales. A 2008 estimate places 35 genera and 281 species in the family. Species in the family tend to grow on plant material, including woody debris, while some species associate with algae, bryophytes, or other fungi.

Hysterostomella is a genus of fungi in the family Parmulariaceae.

Dubitatio is a fungal genus in the family Massariaceae. According to the 2007 Outline of Ascomycota, the placement of the genus in this family is uncertain. This is a monotypic genus, containing the single species Dubitatio dubitationum, found in temperate South America.

Oudemansiella is a genus of fungi in the family Physalacriaceae. According to the Dictionary of the Fungi, the genus contains about 15 species that are widely distributed in tropical and temperate regions. Yang and colleagues revised the genus in a 2009 publication, describing several new species and several varieties. They classified species in the genus into four sections based on the structure of the cap cuticle: Oudemansiella, Mucidula, Dactylosporina, and Radicatae.

Capnodiaceae Family of fungi

The Capnodiaceae are a family of fungi in the Ascomycota, class Dothideomycetes. Species in the family have a widespread distribution, and are especially prevalent in tropical and subtropical areas, as well as temperate rainforests.

Pseudocercospora is a genus of ascomycete fungi. An anamorphic version of the genus Mycosphaerella, Pseudocercospora species are plant pathogens. The widely distributed genus has been estimated to contain over 1100 species, concentrated predominantly in tropical regions. Pseudocercospora was circumscribed by Italian-Argentinian botanist Carlos Luigi Spegazzini in 1910.
