Cadbury Buttons are flat, circular, button-shaped chocolate pieces in small packs that were first sold by Cadbury in the United Kingdom in 1960. [1] They are sold in Australia, New Zealand, Canada, Ireland and the UK. [2] They are available in Cadbury's Dairy Milk and white chocolate. Giant versions of the buttons have also been produced. [3] They are known for their circular design and feature animated animals on their packaging with their eyes being two buttons.
In 2022, the Giant Buttons packets in the UK have been rebranded, retiring the old Cadbury logo that the packets had used since their launch 14 years earlier. The new style featured a new Buttons logo that is transparent, lacking the word "Giant" on the packaging in line with the 2020 Cadbury logo. In the same year, Mega versions of the buttons have also been produced, [4] which are even bigger than the Giant Buttons and the treatsize Buttons, as the Mega Buttons are gigantic in size. In 2024, a white chocolate variant of the Mega Buttons have been produced. [5]
As of 2023, the individual treatsize Cadbury Buttons packets in the UK were discontinued, as they will be available in multipacks as the Giant Buttons packets are continuing to be made. [6]

The product consists of a thick chocolate shell containing a sweet white and yellow filling that resembles fondant. The filling mimics the albumen and yolk of a soft boiled egg.

Using aerated chocolate, the bar was launched in 1981 as a trial version in North East England, and with its success it was introduced nationally in 1983. It was seen as a competitor to Rowntree's Aero . In 2003, as part of a relaunch of the Cadbury Dairy Milk brand, the Wispa brand was discontinued and the product relaunched as "Dairy Milk Bubbly". Time Out is a brand of wafer-based chocolate bar manufactured by Cadbury Ireland. It was introduced in the United Kingdom and Ireland in 1992, followed by Australia and New Zealand in 1995. Mainly sold in pairs, it consists of a ripple of milk chocolate between two wafers, smothered in Dairy Milk milk chocolate. The bar was originally sold under the slogan "the wafer break with a layer of Flake". Since 2016 it has been re-branded as a single-bar version called Time Out Wafer. The original bar has been rebranded in Australia, and is now titled “Twirl Breakaway”.
Twirl is a chocolate bar manufactured by the British chocolate brand Cadbury. Twirl was invented in Dublin by Cadbury Ireland, and launched there in 1985 as a single-finger bar. It was released in the UK two years later as a twin-finger bar. It has been marketed internationally since the 1990s and is now one of the best-selling chocolate Cadbury products. Twirl consists of two Flake-style fingers covered in milk chocolate.
Fuse is a brand of chocolate bar manufactured by Cadbury in India since 2016. A different bar of the same name was produced in the United Kingdom between 1996 and 2006.
The Cadbury Creme Egg Twisted was a chocolate bar produced by Cadbury UK in the United Kingdom. It was a milk chocolate bar with a filling of Cadbury Creme Egg fondant. Introduced in 2008, it was a result of Cadbury researching that customers wanted the Creme Egg to be available all year, mainly for the fondant centre rather than the egg shape. Previously, the fondant Creme Egg center was available as a filling in the Cadbury Dairy Milk line, but that has since then been phased out with the Creme Egg Twisted replacing it. Currently, only the Cadbury Heroes mini variation is available in the UK.
Cadbury Clusters are a chocolate based confectionery launched in the United Kingdom and Ireland by Cadbury in 2009. They are small nuggets that are sold in 150g bags, and are currently available in three flavours. The bags are re-sealable and paved the way for a redesign of the packaging of other Cadbury products such as Shots and Giant Buttons.
Shots are a brand of confectionery currently manufactured by Cadbury. They consist of milk chocolate balls coated in a hard sugar outer layer and are sold in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
Dream is a brand of white chocolate by Cadbury. It is no longer manufactured under the former name in the UK, though it is still manufactured in this form in Australia, New Zealand, and South Africa. It is similar to a Milkybar, which is made by Nestlé. A major difference between it and Milkybar is that "Dream" is slimmer than the Milkybar. Cadbury also released 'Cadbury White Giant Buttons' and plan to release 'Freddo White Treasures'.
