Cercopis is a genus of froghoppers belonging to the family Cercopidae, distributed primarily in the Palearctic. [1] [2] [3] At least one species, C. vulnerata , can be a pest to agriculture. [4] There are over 30 accepted species. [5]

The froghoppers, or the superfamily Cercopoidea, are a group of hemipteran insects in the suborder Auchenorrhyncha.
