Consiglio di Rumo was a former municipality in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Milan and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Como, on the border with Switzerland. On May 16, 2011, it was annexed by Gravedona, following an act of fusion passed by Lombardy Region.

Campione d'Italia also belongs to the province and is enclaved in the Swiss canton of Ticino.

When it was disbanded, it had a population of 1,185 and an area of 16.3 km². [1] Consiglio di Rumo bordered the municipalities of Colico, Dongo, Dosso del Liro, Garzeno, Germasino, Gravedona, Stazzona and, in Switzerland, Roveredo.
Colico is a city in the province of Lecco, Lombardy, Italy. It is situated on the northern arm of Lake Como, where the river Adda enters the lake. Colico is the most important city in the northern part of Lake Como, which is often identified as its Colico branch.
Dongo is a comune in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy. It lies on the northwestern shore of Lake Como between Gravedona and Musso at the mouth of the Albano. It is 70 kilometres (43 mi) north of Milan and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Como.
Dosso del Liro is a comune (municipality) in the Province of Como in the Italian region Lombardy, located about 80 kilometres (50 mi) north of Milan and about 40 kilometres (25 mi) northeast of Como, on the border with Switzerland. As of 31 December 2004, it had a population of 297 and an area of 23.2 km².
