Air Time: The Best of Glass Tiger is Glass Tiger's first Greatest Hits album. It contains all of their charting singles, both in their native Canada, and the United States from their first three studio albums. The compilation also includes two unreleased recordings: "After the Dance" and "Touch of Your Hand", this last song was released as a single: it entered in the Canadian charts and peaked at number 34 in January 1994.

Canadian singer Bryan Adams has released 18 studio releases, six compilation albums, two soundtrack albums, seven live albums, and 77 singles. After the success of his debut single, "Let Me Take You Dancing" (1979), Adams signed a recording contract with A&M Records. Bryan Adams (1980), his debut album, peaked at number 69 on the Canadian RPM Albums Chart. Adams followed this with You Want It You Got It (1981), which peaked at number 118 on the Billboard 200 and was certified gold in Canada. Cuts Like a Knife, his third release, became his first successful work outside Canada. Connelly has been part of all GT's major album releases as well as numerous solo recordings.

"My Town" is a song by Canadian band Glass Tiger. Released in August 1991 as the fourth single from their third studio album, Simple Mission, Rod Stewart appears as a featured vocalist. Composition inspired by Celtic music, "My Town" was written by Glass Tiger bandmates Alan Frew, Alan Connelly and Wayne Parker, as well as Jim Cregan, who co-wrote two of Stewart's other hits. The song's lyrics are a tribute to Frew's hometown, Coatbridge, Scotland, and Stewart was invited to record the song with Glass Tiger because of his Scottish ancestry.
