Dr. B. R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam is a state university located in Etcherla, Srikakulam district, Andhra Pradesh, India. It was established in 2008 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. The university is named after B. R. Ambedkar.
The Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University, Srikakulam was established by the Government of Andhra Pradesh in 2008. The university was given control of the Andhra University campus in Etcherla and all its affiliated colleges in Srikakulam. The first Vice-Chancellor (VC) was S.V. Sudhakar, followed by H. Lajipathi Rai in 2013. [2] Nimma Venkata Rao was appointed VC in January 2021. [3]
Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, commonly known by its former name Madras Law College, is a law school, located in Chennai (Madras), Tamil Nadu, India. It is also referred to as Government Law College or GLC, Chennai. It was established in 1891. It was renamed in 1990, as Dr. Ambedkar Government Law College, by the Government of Tamil Nadu in commemoration of the birth centenary of B. R. Ambedkar. In 1997, the Government of Tamil Nadu passed an Act which brought the college under the wings of the newly established Tamil Nadu Dr. Ambedkar Law University, splitting the college from the University of Madras.
Srikakulam district is a district in the Indian state of Andhra Pradesh, located in the Uttarandhra region of the state, with its headquarters located at Srikakulam. It is one of the six districts, located in the extreme northeastern direction of the state. It was formerly known as Chicacole, and was under Ganjam district till 1 April 1936, then merged under Vizagapatam district. Srikakulam district forms the core area of Kalinga where most of its historical capitals like Kalinganagari, pithunda, Dantapuram are located.

So, half of the Alluri Sitharamaraju district belongs to North Andhra/ Uttara Andhra and the southern part of this district belongs to Coastal Andhra region/ Godavari region. As of 2011 census of India, the region with six districts has a population of 9,338,177.
Dr. B.R. Ambedkar Open University, also known as Telangana Open University, formerly Andhra Pradesh Open University, is a public university in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana, India.

Ambedkar Jayanti or Bhim Jayanti is observed on 14 April to commemorate the memory of Dr. B. R. It was established in 2016 by the Government of Madhya Pradesh under the Dr. B.R. Ambedkar University of Social Sciences Act, 2015 to focus on education of social sciences, the first such university in India. The university is named after B. R. Ambedkar.

Ambedkar, an Indian polymath, statesman, social reformer and the father of the Indian Constitution. This Ambedkar's statue is 206 feet (63 m) tall and stands on an 81 feet (25 m) tall base building, making its total height 206 feet (63 m). It is the fourth tallest statues in India.

Konaseema district, is a district in Konaseema region of Andhra Pradesh in India. It is situated between the tributaries of the Godavari River in the Coastal Andhra. It was carved out of East Godavari district on 4 April 2022 by the Government of Andhra Pradesh. Amalapuram is the district headquarters and the largest city in this district. The district shares boundaries with West Godavari, East Godavari and Kakinada districts.
Gunda Lakshmi Devi is an Indian politician from the state of Andhra Pradesh. She is a former member of Andhra Pradesh Legislative Assembly representing Srikakulam Assembly constituency from 2014 to 2019. She was denied a ticket from TDP to contest the 2024 Assembly Election. Following the decision of the Party, her followers burnt the flags and literature of TDP. She said she would contest as an independent candidate.
