Durchak (Persian : دورچاك‎, also Romanized as Dūrchāk and Dowrchāk; also known as Darchāk)^[1] is a village in Rudbar-e Mohammad-e Zamani Rural District, Alamut-e Gharbi District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 305, in 107 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Rudbar-e Mohammad-e Zamani Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Alamut-e Gharbi District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 7,622, in 2,273 families. The rural district has 42 villages.

Alamut-e Gharbi District, formerly Rudbar-e Shahrestan District, is a district (bakhsh) in Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 21,000, in 7,272 families. The District has one city: Razmian. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Rudbar-e Mohammad-e Zamani Rural District, Rudbar-e Shahrestan Rural District, and Dastjerd Rural District. People of Alamut-e Gharbi District belong to the Tat ethnic group and they speak Tati language.
