Sapuhin (Persian : سپوهين‎, also Romanized as Sapūhīn and Sapoohin; also known as Sabūhīn)^[1] is a village in Rudbar-e Shahrestan Rural District, Alamut-e Gharbi District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 109, in 32 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script, which itself evolved from the Aramaic alphabet.

Rudbar-e Shahrestan Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Alamut-e Gharbi District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 6,057, in 1,676 families. The rural district has 42 villages.

Alamut-e Gharbi District, formerly Rudbar-e Shahrestan District, is a district (bakhsh) in Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 21,000, in 7,272 families. The District has one city: Razmian. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Rudbar-e Mohammad-e Zamani Rural District, Rudbar-e Shahrestan Rural District, and Dastjerd Rural District. People of Alamut-e Gharbi District belong to the Tat ethnic group and they speak Tati language.
