Shahrestan-e Sofla (Persian : شهرستان سفلي, also Romanized as Shahrestān-e Soflá; also known as Shahrestān-e Pā’īn) [1] is a village in Rudbar-e Shahrestan Rural District, Alamut-e Gharbi District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 515, in 120 families. [2]

Alamut-e Gharbi District, formerly Rudbar-e Shahrestan District, is a district (bakhsh) in Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 21,000, in 7,272 families. The District has one city: Razmian. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Rudbar-e Mohammad-e Zamani Rural District, Rudbar-e Shahrestan Rural District, and Dastjerd Rural District. People of Alamut-e Gharbi District belong to the Tat ethnic group and they speak Tati language.
