Tahmursabad (Persian : طهمورث اباد‎, also Romanized as Ţahmūrs̱ābād; also known as Ţahmāsebābād)^[1] is a village in Dastjerd Rural District, Alamut-e Gharbi District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 50, in 13 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. Dastjerd Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Alamut-e Gharbi District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 1,611, in 434 families. The rural district has 18 villages.

Alamut-e Gharbi District, formerly Rudbar-e Shahrestan District, is a district (bakhsh) in Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 21,000, in 7,272 families. The District has one city: Razmian. The District has three rural districts (dehestan): Rudbar-e Mohammad-e Zamani Rural District, Rudbar-e Shahrestan Rural District, and Dastjerd Rural District. People of Alamut-e Gharbi District belong to the Tat ethnic group and they speak Tati language.
