Zaj Kan-e Olya (Persian : زاجكان عليا‎, also Romanized as Zāj Kān-e ‘Olyā, Zāchgān-e ‘Olyā, Zāchkān-e ‘Olyā, Zājkān ‘Uliyā, and Zadzhkan-Uliya; also known as Zāj Kān-e Bālā, Zājkān, and Zājkān-e Bālā)^[1] is a village in Kuhgir Rural District, Tarom Sofla District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its existence was noted, but its population was not reported.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Kuhgir Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in Tarom Sofla District, Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 2,873, in 734 families. The rural district has 18 villages.

Tarom Sofla District is a district (bakhsh) in Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 15,409, in 4,145 families. The District has one city: Sirdan. The District has four rural districts (dehestan): Chuqur Rural District, Khandan Rural District, Kuhgir Rural District, and Niyarak Rural District.
