Zuyar (Persian : زويار‎, also Romanized as Zūyār, Zūvār, and Zuwār; also known as Zovān)^[1] is a village in Eqbal-e Gharbi Rural District, in the Central District of Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 820, in 177 families.^[2]

Persian, also known by its endonym Farsi, is one of the Western Iranian languages within the Indo-Iranian branch of the Indo-European language family. It is primarily spoken in Iran, Afghanistan, and Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and some other regions which historically were Persianate societies and considered part of Greater Iran. It is written right to left in the Persian alphabet, a modified variant of the Arabic script.

Eqbal-e Gharbi Rural District is a rural district (dehestan) in the Central District of Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 37,488, in 8,940 families. The rural district has 50 villages.

The Central District of Qazvin County is a district (bakhsh) in Qazvin County, Qazvin Province, Iran. At the 2006 census, its population was 469,367, in 125,770 families. The District has three cities: Qazvin, Eqbaliyeh, and Mahmudabad Nemuneh. The District has two rural districts (dehestan): Eqbal-e Gharbi Rural District, and Eqbal-e Sharqi Rural District. Persians, Azeris and Tats are the largest ethnic groups of the Central District of Qazvin County.
