Downingtown is a borough in Chester County, Pennsylvania, 33 miles (53 km) west of Philadelphia. As of the 2010 census it had a population of 7,666. Downingtown was settled by English and European colonists in the early 18th century and has a number of historic buildings and structures.
Tyrone Borough Historic District is a national historic district located at Tyrone, Blair County, Pennsylvania. The district includes 349 contributing buildings and 2 contributing structures in the central business district and surrounding residential areas of Tyrone. The earliest buildings date to the 1850s, when the community was expanded as a junction town for the Pennsylvania Railroad. The buildings are primarily frame and brick, with notable examples of Late Victorian style architecture. Notable non-residential buildings include the Garman Building (1890), Hiller Building (1892), I.O.O.F Building, Jones Building (1906), White House Bed and Breakfast (1855), and St. Matthews Catholic Church (1880). Also located in the district are a railroad bed and viaduct and road bridge at East 10th Street and Blair Avenue. Located in the district and separately listed is the Tyrone Armory.

The district includes five contributing buildings dated before the Johnstown Flood, but the majority date from 1890 to 1930. The district includes 105 contributing buildings and one contributing site in the crossroad community of Pleasureville. Most of the buildings are residential include 19th century vernacular dwellings with notable examples of early 20th century Colonial Revival and Italianate style dwellings. Notable non-residential buildings include a former schoolhouse, meeting hall, former store and accessory shop, and small industrial shop. The contributing site is the Pleasureville Cemetery with 72 marked graves dating between 1865 and 1929.
