The Ireland men's national rugby league team, known as the Wolfhounds, is organised by Rugby League Ireland and represents the entire isle of Ireland in international rugby league. The representative team is composed largely of players of Irish descent who compete in the Super League as well as the Australasian National Rugby League. Ireland is also represented by an Ireland A side, which is made up of players from the Irish domestic competition.

The France national rugby league team represents France in international rugby league matches. They are referred to as les Chanticleers or less commonly as les Tricolores. The team is run under the auspices of the Fédération Française de Rugby à XIII.
The Italy national rugby league team represents Italy in rugby league football. With origins dating back to the 1950s and 1960s, the team has competed regularly in international competitions since 2008, when their current governing body, the Federazione Italiana Rugby League, was formed. They are currently ranked 16th in the IRL World Rankings.
The Lebanon national rugby league team represents Lebanon in rugby league football. Nicknamed "the Cedars" after the Lebanese cedar tree, the team was formed by Lebanese Australians in 1997 and have been administered by the Lebanese Rugby League Federation since 2002.
2008 Rugby League World Cup qualifying matches took place from April 2006 to November 2007. Of the ten teams to compete in the 2008 Rugby League World Cup, five of them qualified based on their performance in these matches. The other five teams had qualified automatically.

The Arabian Gulf rugby union team was a combined team of players that represented the countries of the Gulf Cooperation Council in international rugby union competitions. The team competed in international matches between 1993 and 2010, and was governed by the Arabian Gulf Rugby Football Union (AGRFU). Associate members were Egypt, Lebanon and Jordan.
The Qatar national rugby union team represents Qatar in men's international rugby union. The team plays in the West Asia division of the Asia Rugby Championship. The Qatar Rugby Federation is a full member of Asia Rugby and an associate member of World Rugby.

The Lebanon women's national football team is the official women's national football team of the country of Lebanon. The team was established in 2005, and is controlled by the Lebanon Football Association (LFA), the governing body for football in Lebanon. Whilst the team has yet to qualify for the FIFA Women's World Cup or the AFC Women's Asian Cup, they have finished runners-up at the 2022 edition of the WAFF Women's Championship, and in third place at the 2007 and 2019 editions.

The Libya national rugby union team represents Libya in international rugby union. They are a not member of the World Rugby , and are yet to play in a Rugby World Cup tournament. The Libya national rugby team played their first ever international against Algeria in 2010, with Algeria winning the game 50 points to 0, during the 2010 CAR Development Trophy, played in Cairo, Egypt. Libya played a second match during the tournament, losing to Mauritania by 10 points to 5.
The Lebanese Rugby Union Federation, a national sports association based in Beirut, is the governing body for rugby union in Lebanon. The origins of the game in the country date back to at least 1995 with the formation of the Beirut Phoenicians club, but it was not until 2005 that the Lebanese Ministry of Sport officially recognized it as a sport. Lebanon became an associate member of the now-defunct Arabian Gulf Rugby Football Union in 2007, before joining the ARFU as an associate member in December 2009. It attained full membership in Asia by 2013, and associate status with World Rugby in 2018.
