The second season of the American version of the reality television show Ex on the Beach , premiered on MTV on Thursday, December 20, 2018. [1] It features cast members from various reality television shows living together in California with their ex-partners.

Reality television is a genre of television programming that documents purportedly unscripted real-life situations, often starring unknown individuals rather than professional actors. Reality television came to prominence in the late 1990s and early 2000s with the global successes of the series Survivor, Idols, and Big Brother, all of which became global franchises. Ex on the Beach is the American version of the British reality television show of the same name. The show was announced on March 15, 2018 and premiered on MTV on Thursday, April 19 at 9 p.m. EDT with a launch special airing on April 12. It features cast members from various reality television shows living together with their exes. The show is hosted by Romeo Miller. The show features cast members from Are You the One?, The Bachelor, The Bachelorette, Bad Girls Club, Big Brother, Catching Kelce, The Challenge, Fire Island, Survivor, Teen Mom, Vanderpump Rules and What Happens at The Abbey.
