Nitro Circus is an "action sport collective" led by Travis Pastrana, featuring his friends and him traveling around the world riding dirtbikes, BASE jumping, and performing stunts. Co-founded in 2003 by Pastrana, Nitro Circus has become a media company that produces television programming, documentaries and the Nitro Circus Live tour. In 2016, the company introduced the Nitro World Games, an action sports competition designed around pushing progression in core action sports disciplines like FMX, BMX, skate and scooter.
The collective began by releasing 8 DVDs during the early 2000s. Good sales led to the creation of the television show.

Originally run as a 2006 miniseries on Fuel TV, it began running as an episodic reality television show on MTV that featured people performing various dangerous stunts. Nitro Circus officially debuted on February 8, 2009; Season 2 premiered on August 27, 2009.
Nitro Circus: The Movie 3D was released August 8, 2012 in the United States and November 15, 2012 in Australia and New Zealand for one week. [1]
Jim DeChamp suffered a serious back injury on June 29, 2011, while shooting for the 3D film. After undergoing surgery, his doctors indicated there was no spinal damage and that they expect him to make a full recovery. [2]
Damien Starkey and Paul Phillips, both ex-Puddle of Mudd members, scored the movie and provided the majority of the music. This was done through Starkey's company Give 2 Get Music.
Nitro Circus Live is a reality television show. It follows Travis Pastrana and the Nitro Circus crew as they perform live all around the world.
The Nitro World Games is an action sports competition featuring rallycross, freestyle motocross, BMX, kick scooter and skateboard competitions. The 2016 and 2017 editions were held at Rice-Eccles Stadium in Salt Lake City, Utah. The 2018 edition had four venues in the United States, United Kingdom and France.

Travis Alan Pastrana is an American professional motorsports competitor and stunt performer who has won championships and X Games gold medals in several disciplines, including supercross, motocross, freestyle motocross, rally racing and offshore powerboat racing. He runs a show called Nitro Circus and the rallycross racing series Nitrocross.

A pioneer for the growth of the sport, he is known for inventing the body varial trick the “California Roll/Cali Roll” or sometimes nicknamed the “Taka Roll” which is a slightly different version of the Special Flip.

She is the first CMRC Women's Canadian Motocross National Champion, first woman to backflip a full-sized dirt bike, holder of multiple Guinness World Records, and co-star of many motocross/stunt videos. She also appeared in the television show Nitro Circus.

Ryan Williams, known as R-Willy, is an Australian freestyle scooter and BMX rider. He performs with the Nitro Circus, and has a large online following on YouTube and Instagram.
The Nitro World Games is an annual extreme sports event organized by Nitro Circus. The event was originally held in 2016 at Rice–Eccles Stadium, and moved to the Utah Motorsports Campus in 2018.
Ethen Godrey Roberts, is a professional freeride mountain bike and FMX rider known for his participation with the extreme sports show Nitro Circus. He's the first to land a triple backflip on a mountain bike and has since become a pioneer of big mountain bike tricks, like a tsunami double backflip (2013) and triple backflip (2014). He's a pioneer athlete in the Snow Bike Winter X Games event, eventually winning a bronze medal in the 2019 Snow-Bike Best Trick event. He's also the nephew of the action sports pioneer Gregg Godfrey who is the co-founder of Nitro Circus.
Colby Raha is an X Games and motocross competitor. Raha entered X-Games Minneapolis 2017 as a relatively unknown rider but has quickly become one of the most accomplished freestyle riders, racking up several X Games Medals since his debut. Raha is known for his big air, blending his unique BMX background into his FMX tricks, and has gained popularity on social media for performing street stunts with a dirt bike. In the 2020 Real Moto X Games he became the world's first athlete to grind a rail on a full-Sized motorcycle.
Pat Casey was an American athlete who competed in cycling in freestyle BMX. He won five medals at the X Games.
