Boitumelo Ezra Letsoalo is a South African politician who has represented the African National Congress (ANC) in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature since 2019. Formerly an ANC Youth League activist in Tshwane, he has been a member of the Provincial Executive Committee of the ANC's Gauteng branch since 2018.

Political career

Letsoalo was formerly the Deputy Regional Chairperson of the ANC Youth League's branch in Tshwane, Gauteng; he served under Regional Chairperson Lesego Makhubela. [1] He did not stand for reelection to that office in October 2017. [2] However, the following year, in July 2018, he was elected to a four-year term as a member of the Provincial Executive Committee of the mainstream ANC in Gauteng. [3]

In the 2019 general election, he was elected for the first time to a seat in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature, ranked 11th on the ANC's provincial party list. [4] He was re-elected to the Provincial Executive Committee in July 2022. [5]

Jacqueline Motlagomang Mofokeng was a South African politician. A member of the African National Congress, she served in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature from 1999 to 2019. In the 2019 national elections, she was elected to the National Assembly of South Africa.

Bekizwe Simon "Bheki" Nkosi is a South African politician who current represents the African National Congress (ANC) as a Member of the National Assembly since 2019. An attorney by training, he was formerly a Member of the Gauteng Provincial Legislature from 1997 to 2012 and he served on the Gauteng Executive Council from 2009 to 2012. He was the deputy president of the ANC Youth League from 1994 to 1996.

Kgosientso "Sputla" Ramokgopa is a South African politician who is the Minister in the Presidency responsible for Electricity. He was the Mayor of Tshwane from 2010 to 2016. He was also a Member of the Executive Council in the Gauteng provincial government in 2019 and worked in the Presidency of South Africa as head of infrastructure from 2019 to 2023.

Humphrey Mmemezi is a South African politician and civil servant who was a Member of the National Assembly between 2014 and 2019 and served as Chairperson of the Portfolio Committee on Public Works from 2017. He was formerly a Member of the Executive Council for Local Government and Housing in the Gauteng provincial government from 2010 to 2012. He resigned from the provincial government in July 2012 when he was found guilty of contravening the legislature's code of conduct and ethics, including in using his government credit card for personal expenses.

Jacob Khawe is a South African politician who was the Provincial Secretary of the African National Congress (ANC) in Gauteng from 2018 to 2022. He was formerly the Mayor of Emfuleni Local Municipality from 2017 to 2018 and before that he represented the ANC in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.

Mauwane Rebecca Phaladi-Digamela is a South African politician, nurse, and academic who currently represents the African National Congress (ANC) in the Gauteng Provincial Legislature.
