The 1997–98 Greek Football Cup was the 56th edition of the Greek Football Cup.

The 1998–99 season was Olympiacos's 40th consecutive season in the Alpha Ethniki and their 74th year in existence. The club were played 2nd consecutive season in the UEFA Champions League. In the beginning of the summertime Olympiacos named Bosnian Dusan Bajevic coach.

The 2013–14 Greek Football Cup was the 72nd edition of the Greek Football Cup. A total of 46 clubs, 16 less than last edition, were accepted to enter. The competition commenced on 14 September 2013 with the first round and concluded on 26 April 2014 with the final at the Olympic Stadium between Panathinaikos and PAOK, with Panathinaikos winning 4–1.

The 2014–15 season was Ergotelis' 85th season in existence, 9th season in the Super League Greece, and the second consecutive season in the top tier since the club's latest promotion from the Football League. Ergotelis also participated in the Greek cup, entering the competition in the Second Round. After a turbulent season, with many managerial changes, player transfers, multiple matches being postponed in mid-season and competitors withdrawing from the league, Ergotelis was relegated after finishing in 16th place during the regular season. The club ultimately was placed in 15th place post-season, after Kerkyra was relegated for illegal transfer of shares. Kerkyra was given the last position of the league table, while Ergotelis' relegation status remained unchanged.

The 2015–16 season was Olympiacos's 57th consecutive season in the Super League Greece and their 90th year in existence. The club was managed to become the champions for 6th consecutive year and for 18th time during the last 20 seasons. Olympiacos also participated in the Greek Football Cup, losing at the final against AEK Athens. They also took part in the UEFA Champions League and the UEFA Europa League.

The 2018–19 season was Olympiacos's 60th consecutive season in the Super League Greece and their 93nd year in existence. They also participated in the Greek Football Cup, where they reached the quarter-finals, and in the UEFA Europa League, where they reached the round of 32. For the second consecutive season, Olympiacos did not win any competition. This was their first consecutive trophyless seasons since 1994–95 to 1995–96.

The 2019–20 Panathinaikos season was the club's 61st consecutive season in Super League Greece. They also competed in the Greek Cup.

The 2018–19 season was the 1st for Aris in the Super League after its return top division of Greece. The club also competed in the Greek Cup and were eliminated in the group stage.

The 2007–08 season was the 94th season in Aris Thessaloniki F.C.'s existence. The club finished 4th in the Super League's regular season and in the same place in play-offs. The club qualified in to the UEFA Cup of the next season.

The 1980–81 season was PAOK Football Club's 55th in existence and the club's 22nd consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. The team entered the Greek Football Cup in first round.

The 1983–84 season was PAOK Football Club's 57th in existence and the club's 25th consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. The team entered the Greek Football Cup in first round and also participated in the UEFA Cup.

The 1971–72 season was the 48th season in the existence of AEK Athens F.C. and the 13th consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. They competed in the Alpha Ethniki, the Greek Cup and the European Cup. The season began on 29 August 1971 and finished on 11 June 1972.

The 1960–61 season was the 37th season in the existence of AEK Athens F.C. and the second consecutive season in the top flight of Greek football. They competed in the Alpha Ethniki, the Greek Cup and the Balkans Cup. The season began on 18 September 1960 and finished on 25 June 1961.
