Glamsbjerg is a town in central Denmark with a population of 3,356 (1 January 2024), [1] located in Assens municipality on the island of Funen in Region of Southern Denmark.
Glamsbjerg is a comparatively new town in Denmark. It came to be in 1884 when the Odense – Assens railroad was opened. Many of the houses in Glamsbjerg are from 1900.
Before Glamsbjerg was a "town" it was a village in Køng parish. It appears on the first page of the Køng churchbook (parish register) in 1687 at the baptism of Jeppe, son of Simon Ibsen of Glamsberg. The spelling "Glamsbjerg" first appears in 1694. In the 1801 census, the population of Glamsbjerg was 158 persons in 32 households.[ citation needed ]
Krengerup, a large Neoclassical manor house and estate, is located some 4 km (2.5 mi) to the north of Glamsbjerg. [3]

Værløse is a town in Furesø Municipality in the northwestern outskirts of Copenhagen, Denmark. As of 1 January 2024, it has a population of 13,248. Situated on the west side of the Hillerød Motorway, between Farum Lake to the north and Søndersø Lake to the south, it is surrounded by forest on three sides. Modern Værløse emerged around Værløse station in the 1950s. The original centre of the parish was the village of Kirke Værløse, located three kilometres to the west. The two communities have now almost merged.

Gelsted is a small town and parish in northwestern Funen, Denmark. Gelsted is located roughly halfway between Ejby and Aarup, 28 kilometers west of Odense. The parish is located in Middelfart Municipality, and a small portion is located in Assens Municipality, within the Region of Southern Denmark. 1 January 2023 the town had a population of 1,689 with 2,312 in the parish in total itself. It contains the Gelsted Church.
