Tommerup is a town in central Denmark with a population of 1,596 (1 January 2024), [1] located in Assens Municipality on the island of Funen.
Near Tommerup there is the tallest construction in Denmark (except Greenland), the 321.3 metre tall guyed mast of Brylle transmitter.[ citation needed ]
Although Tommerup was the municipal seat of the former Tommerup Municipality, it was just the second largest town of the municipality, surpassed by Tommerup Stationsby.
Funen County is a former county in central Denmark, comprising the islands of Funen, Langeland, Tåsinge, Ærø, and approximately 90 other islands, of which only 25 are inhabited. The county was formed on 1 April 1970, comprising the former counties of Odense and Svendborg. The county was abolished from 1 January 2007, when it merged into Region of Southern Denmark.

Tårnby Municipality is a kommune bordering Copenhagen Municipality on the island of Amager just east of Zealand in eastern Denmark.
