Tommerup is a town in central Denmark with a population of 1,567 (1 January 2020), [1] located in Assens municipality on the island of Funen.

Near Tommerup there is the tallest construction in Denmark (except Greenland), the 321.3 metre tall guyed mast of Brylle transmitter.[ citation needed ]

Although Tommerup was the municipal seat of the former Tommerup Municipality, it was just the second largest town of the municipality, surpassed by Tommerup Stationsby.

Nørre Aaby

Nørre Aaby is a town in central Denmark, located in Middelfart municipality on the island of Funen. Until Kommunalreformen it was the site of the municipal council of the now former Nørre Aaby municipality. The town is most known for the great number of efterskole located around the city: Viby Efterskole, Båring Efterskole, Vesterdal Efterskole, Nørre Åby Efterskole and Eisbjerghus Efterskole.

Ejby is a small railway town in Middelfart Municipality. It lies between Odense station and Middelfart station, on the island of Funen, Region of Southern Denmark, Denmark. It has a population of 2,088.

Assensbanen was a state-owned Danish railway line on Funen, between Tommerup Stationsby on the Funen Main Line and Assens. The line opened on 31 May 1884 and was closed to passenger traffic on 21 May 1966. After freight traffic had lost its importance, the Minister of Transport decided to close the line completely.
