The governor of Ilocos Norte (Filipino : Punong Panlalawigan ng Ilocos Norte), is the chief executive of the provincial government of Ilocos Norte.

A Congressman from 1925 to 1931, he is best known for being the father of Ferdinand Marcos, who was President of the Philippines from 1965 to 1986, and the grandfather of current senator Imee Marcos and the current 17th Philippine president Bongbong Marcos.

In May 2017, the House of Representatives of the Philippines began an investigation into alleged misuse of tobacco excise tax funds in the province of Ilocos Norte from 2010 to 2016, representing the first two gubernatorial terms of Imee Marcos, who was serving her third and last gubernatorial term at the time the investigation was initiated. Marcos, her longtime partner Mark Chua, and six Ilocos Norte local officials - Pedro Agcaoili, Eden Batulayan, Josephine Calajete, Encarnacion Gaor, Genedine Jambaro, and Evangeline Tabulog - were implicated in the investigation.

<span class="mw-page-title-main">Ilocos Norte's 1st congressional district</span> Congressional district of the Philippines

Ilocos Norte's 1st congressional district is one of the two congressional districts of the Philippines in the province of Ilocos Norte. It has been represented in the House of Representatives of the Philippines since 1916 and earlier in the Philippine Assembly from 1907 to 1916. The district consists of the provincial capital city of Laoag and adjacent municipalities of Adams, Bacarra, Bangui, Burgos, Carasi, Dumalneg, Pagudpud, Pasuquin, Piddig, Sarrat and Vintar. It is currently represented in the 19th Congress by Sandro Marcos of the Partido Federal ng Pilipinas (PFP).

Roque "Roquito" Ravelo Ablan Jr. was a Filipino politician who served as representative from Ilocos Norte. He was one of the most prominent politicians in Ilocos Norte, having served eight terms in Congress.

Ferdinand Alexander "Sandro" Araneta Marcos III is a Filipino politician who is the representative of Ilocos Norte's 1st congressional district since 2022, and the eldest of three sons of Philippine President Bongbong Marcos and First Lady Liza Araneta Marcos.
