The Hamorton Historic District is a national historic district which is located in the center of Hamorton, Kennett Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania, United States.
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. [1]
This historic district encompasses one contributing structure and seventy-five contributing buildings, which are located in the crossroads community of Hamorton. This district largely consists of a variety of stone, brick, and frame residences which were built between 1780 and 1930. [2]
The village was laid out during the 1830s, and was developed as a company town during the early twentieth century by Pierre S. du Pont (1870–1954). [2]
It was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 1990. [1]

Doe Run Village Historic District is a national historic district located in West Marlborough Township and East Fallowfield Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It encompasses twenty-six contributing buildings and one contributing site in the rural community of Doe Run Village. Buildings cluster in three primary locations. The first cluster includes the Doe Run Garage, old general store, and some residences. The second cluster is associated with a cotton mill that was subsequently replaced with the town hall in 1898. The town hall subsequently contained a dairy. Located nearby are the ruins of a paper mill. The third cluster is associated with a gristmill (1744). Also in the district is the Doe Run School and former Presbyterian Church.
Dilworthtown Historic District is a national historic district located in Dilworthtown, Birmingham Township, Chester County, Pennsylvania. It encompasses eight contributing buildings in the crossroads community of Dilworthtown. They include the Dilworth House, stone house (1820), Dilworthtown Lyceum or meeting hall, Dilworthtown Store (1858), two tenant houses, and a two-story log cabin dated to 1686 or the early-18th century. The focal point of the district is the Dilworth House, also known as the Dilworthtown Inn, which has operated as an inn and tavern since the late 18th century. The town was at the center of the fighting during the Battle of Brandywine in September 1777.
