Helene Liliendahl Brydensholt (born 8 August 1987) is a Danish politician and member of the Folketing,the national legislature. A member of The Alternative party,she has represented North Zealand since November 2022. [1]
Brydensholt was born on 8 August 1987 in Roskilde. [1] She has a degree in anthropology from the University of Copenhagen (2015). [1] She is a communications manager for Ecouture ApS. [2]

The Alternative is a green and pro-European political party in Denmark. The party was publicly launched on 27 November 2013 by former Minister of Culture Uffe Elbæk and Josephine Fock; Elbæk had been a parliamentarian for the Social Liberal Party. Elbæk was the leader of the party until February 2020, where he stepped down and was succeeded by Fock. Currently the party is led by Franciska Rosenkilde. It collaborates with DiEM25 at the European level. The Alternative regards itself as a political movement and a cultural voice, as well as a political party.
Theresa Birgitta Brønnum Scavenius is a Danish politician who currently serves as an independent member of the Folketing. Previously a member of the green political party The Alternative, she was first elected at the 2022 Danish general election as a member of the party, having previously run unsuccessfully for them in the 2019 election. She was a candidate to succeed Uffe Elbæk as leader of the party, after he resigned in February 2020, but lost to Josephine Fock.
Franciska Rosenkilde is a Danish geographer and politician who has been the leader of The Alternative since February 2021, replacing Josephine Fock. Alongside five other members of The Alternative, Rosenkilde was elected to the Folketing in November 2022.
North Zealand is one of the 12 multi-member constituencies of the Folketing, the national legislature of Denmark. The constituency was established in 2007 following the public administration structural reform. It consists of the municipalities of Allerød, Egedal, Fredensborg, Frederikssund, Furesø, Gribskov, Halsnæs, Helsingør, Hillerød, Hørsholm and Rudersdal. The constituency currently elects 10 of the 179 members of the Folketing using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2022 general election it had 341,544 registered electors.
Tove Kirsten Lindbo Larsen was a Danish Social Democrats politician who served as Minister for Ecclesiastical Affairs and Minister for Greenland from early 1981 to late 1982 in the government of Anker Jørgensen. She also served a total of 22 years as a member of the Folketing for firstly the Vestre Storkreds and then the Søndre Storkreds constituencies between most years from 1971 to 1998.
Grethe Fenger Møller is a Danish lawyer and Conservative People's Party politician, who was elected to the Folketing as a representative of the Eastern Storkreds constituency from 1977 to 1994. She was the Minister of Labour in the first government of Poul Schlüter between 1982 and 1986. She was president of the Danish Women's Society from 1974 to 1981 after previously being on its executive committee and primary board. Møller left politics after being sentenced to probation for 60 days for providing false testimony in court about the Tamil Case and worked as a clerk in the Ministry of Social Affairs' international office until she retired in 2008.
Kirsten Jacobsen was a Danish real estate agent and politician who was an elected member of the Folketing for the North Jutland County constituency for two non-consecutive periods from 1973 to 1981 and then between 1988 and 2001. She was first a member of the Progress Party, the Freedom 2000 Group an independent and The Conservative People's Party. Jacobsen was also a member of both the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe and the Nordic Council. She was leader of the Progress Party from 1995 to 1997. Jacobsen was appointed Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1991 and was upgraded to Knight First Class of the Order of the Dannebrog five years later.
Pernille Merete Sams is a Danish real estate agent, lawyer and former Conservative People's Party politician who was a member of the Folketing from 1987 to 2001. She was the lawyer of the Conservative People's Party and of its membership before gaining election to the Folketing in 1987. Sams established her real estate business in 1998 and focused on it full time after leaving politics in 2001. She has co- presented the TV 2 programme Liebhaverne alongside Jan Fog and is chair of Denmark's independent real estate agents association, the Danish Independent Estate Agents, since its establishment in 2009. Sams was appointed Knight of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1997.
