Sofie Lippert Troelsen (born 20 December 1995) is a Danish politician and member of the Folketing,the national legislature. A member of the Green Left party,she has represented East Jutland since November 2022. [1]
Lippert was born on 20 December 1995 in Copenhagen. [1] [2] She grew up in Åbyhøj in Aarhus and was educated at Gammelgaardsskolen and Århus Statsgymnasium. [3] She has a Bachelor of Mathematics degree from the Aarhus University (2019). [1] [3] She was a broadcaster on Radio24syv (2020-2022),political consultant for the Danish IT Society (2021),student assistant at the University of Copenhagen (2021-2022),and an assistant teacher at Gentofte HF (2021). Aarhus is the second-largest city in Denmark and the seat of Aarhus Municipality. It is located on the eastern shore of Jutland in the Kattegat sea and approximately 187 kilometres (116 mi) northwest of Copenhagen.

The Alternative is a green and pro-European political party in Denmark. The party was publicly launched on 27 November 2013 by former Minister of Culture Uffe Elbæk and Josephine Fock; Elbæk had been a parliamentarian for the Social Liberal Party. Elbæk was the leader of the party until February 2020, where he stepped down and was succeeded by Fock. Currently the party is led by Franciska Rosenkilde. It collaborates with DiEM25 at the European level. The Alternative regards itself as a political movement and a cultural voice, as well as a political party.
General elections were held in the Kingdom of Denmark on 1 November 2022, except in the Faroe Islands, where they were held on 31 October as 1 November was a national day of mourning for victims at sea. Of the 179 members of the Folketing, 175 were elected in Denmark proper, two in the Faroes and two in Greenland. The elections were called on 5 October following an ultimatum to the government by the Social Liberals due to the outcome of a report on the 2020 Danish mink cull by the Mink Commission, which was critical of the government. Voter turnout was 84% in Denmark, 48% in Greenland, and 71% in the Faroes, with a combined turnout of 84% for the realm as a whole.
Greater Copenhagen is one of the 12 multi-member constituencies of the Folketing, the national legislature of Denmark. The constituency was established in 2007 following the public administration structural reform. It consists of the municipalities of Albertslund, Ballerup, Brøndby, Gentofte, Gladsaxe, Glostrup, Herlev, Høje-Taastrup, Hvidovre, Ishøj, Lyngby-Taarbæk, Rødovre and Vallensbæk. The constituency currently elects 11 of the 179 members of the Folketing using the open party-list proportional representation electoral system. At the 2022 general election it had 371,085 registered electors.

Pernille Frahm is a Danish politician and teacher who served two terms as a member of the Folketing for the Socialist People's Party from 1990 to 1994 and again from 2007 to 2011 as well as serving as a Member of the European Parliament (MEP) for the Confederal Group of the European United Left – Nordic Green Left group between 1999 and 2004. She also was twice a member of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe between 1998 and 1999 and also from 2007 to 2011.
Anne Birigitte Lundholt is a member of the Danish Conservative People's Party and businessperson who served in the Danish Government and the Folketing. She was deputy director of the industry organization Textile Industry from 1980 to 1988, deputy chair of the Junior Chamber Denmark between 1983 and 1984 and CEO later chair of the Furniture Manufacturers Association in 1988. Lundholt was appointed Minister of Industry in 1989 and as Minister of Energy the following year, standing down from both posts in 1993. She was a member of the Folketing for the Ringkøbing County constituency from 1990 to 1997. Lundholt was appointed Commander of the Order of the Dannebrog in 1990.
