Martin Lidegaard(born 12 December 1966) is a Danish politician who has been the leader of the Social Liberal Party since 2022. He was Denmark's Foreign Minister in the government of Prime Minister Helle Thorning-Schmidt from 2014 to 2015,having previously been the Minister of Climate,Energy and Building from 2011 to 2014. Lidegaard has served as a member of the Folketing from 2001 until 2007 and again since the 2015 elections. [2]
On 3 November 2022,one day after former leader Sofie Carsten Nielsen resigned,Lidegaard became leader of the Social Liberal Party. At the press conference announcing this,he reiterated the Social Liberal Party stance of a government with parties from both blocs. [3]

Erik Julius Christian Scavenius was the Danish foreign minister from 1909 to 1910,1913 to 1920 and 1940 to 1943,and prime minister from 1942 to 1943,during the occupation of Denmark until the Danish elected government ceased to function. He was the foreign minister during some of the most important periods of Denmark's modern history,including the First World War,the plebiscites over the return of northern Schleswig to Denmark,and the German occupation. Scavenius was a member of the Landsting from 1918 to 1920 and from 1925 to 1927 representing the Social Liberal Party. He was chairman of its party organization from 1922 to 1924.

From September 2021 to May 2023 served as Greece's first Minister for Climate Crisis and Civil Protection. Sofie Carsten Nielsen is a Danish politician,who was formerly the leader of the Danish Social Liberal Party from October 2020 to November 2022. In the 2000s,Nielsen began her political career with the European Parliament as a consultant before working for the Ministry of Gender Equality as a deputy minister. After being elected to the Folketing at the 2011 Danish general election for the Greater Copenhagen constituency,Nielsen became the Minister for Higher Education and Science in 2014. Nielsen remained in her minister position until she was replaced by Esben Lunde Larsen in 2015.
