Hoplothrips is a genus of thrips in the family Phlaeothripidae, [1] first described in 1843 by Charles Jean-Baptiste Amyot & Jean Guillaume Audinet-Serville. [2] [3] The type species is Thrips corticis DeGeer, 1773. [2] [4]
